2010 has already been a challenging year for business continuity. Heavy snow brought much of Europe to a complete halt at the beginning of the year and as the weather warmed up, travel around the globe was disrupted by the Icelandic volcanic ash cloud. Summer has seen serious floods in central Europe. All this against a backdrop of a tough economic climate.

It is therefore of little wonder that more organisations are reviewing their business continuity plans as part of a wider strategy to succeed.

BS 25999 provides a recognised standard in business continuity management. It comes with a wealth of guidance and support tools.

This Webinar provides an introduction to the standard and then shows how one organisation – Kings College Hospital – are now ready for anything, thanks to their implementation and certification to BS 25999.

We show how, by limiting the scope of certification, Kings were able to achieve it swiftly. Areas of the organisation outside of scope are working to compliance with BS 25999 but are not certified.
