We know how many nasty surprises can lie in wait for all types of organisations, from the large corporation to the sole trader. And that's not scaremongering. It's true. Last year alone thousands of businesses were badly damaged by events they just hadn't planned for. From IT viruses to broken supply chains. From accidents, to illness, to crime. As well as more extreme events, like terrorism and natural disasters. Any one of these incidents could reek havoc on an unsuspecting organisation. At best you could be late with deliveries, or find your usual good service isn't up to scratch. At worst, your service breaks down all together and you struggle to recover whilst letting your competitors gain advantage. Or you simply go out of business.
