An Introduction to BS 25999 and the benefits of certification
This presentation will look at why it’s important to have a formal standard for business continuity and why BS 25999 was developed (why now). We will then look at why BSI is the number 1 global provider of certification and training around the world and should be the first choice for existing customers and prospects. It will then take the audience through why certification is so important to an organization (rather than simply implementing the standard). Finally we will look at the training courses developed and offered by BSI Management Systems.

An Introduction to Business Continuity Management and information on making BS 25999 achievable for SMEs
This webinar informs potential SME users what the benefits are for them in adopting BS 25999. It then goes on to describe the main theme of the standard - the BCM lifecycle and to explain how this links in with a Plan-Do-Check-Act management system. Next, it reassures SME users that the standard is also for them by highlighting parts of the standard and showing what this might mean for them. Finally some of the misunderstandings about certification are dispelled and the whole auditing process is clearly explained in terms of what can be expected and what the benefits are.
