Emergency Planning College:
Sitting within the Civil Contingencies Secretariat of the Cabinet Office, the Emergency Planning College has, since 1989, been the Government's centre for running short seminars, workshops and courses on an inter–agency basis in the field of crisis management and emergency planning. Its diverse and dynamic programme attracts in excess of 6000+ delegates per year, providing a national forum for discussion and the sharing of good practice.
Robust Resilience:
This training site was developed with assistance from NaCTSO (National Counter Terrorism Security Office) of MI5 specifically to support project ARGUS and GOSE (Government of the South East). It follows the requirements of the Civil Contingencies Act which emphasises the need to include all sections of the supply chain and economy in business continuity to improve the national resilience.
