Launch of India Business Continuity Awards

The Business Continuity Institute (BCI) launched the Continuity & Resilience Awards in association with Deloitte to "Promote the Art and Science of Business Continuity Management" in India. The BCI hopes, through these Awards, to share information on innovative and exciting initiatives in BCM in India with the BCI members and the wider BCM community.
Seven award categories have been identified for this inaugural event:

Special Recognition – this award recognizes extraordinary recovery efforts in the face of catastrophe.
The panel of judges will be led by Lyndon Bird FBCI.
Closing date for applications is 31 July 2009. The Continuity & Resilience Awards is scheduled to take place on 30 September 2009 in Mumbai.
