UN Conference on Climate Change in Copenhagen

This December the world has an other opportunity to reach consensus about climate change. Agreement will be made about the new protocol that will replace the current Kyoto protocol. Leaders from all over the world will meet in Copenhagen and discuss the greatest challenge of our time - climate change.

Severn Cullis-Suzuki is one of the world's most remarkable environmental activists; she is a speaker, television host as well as author. With friends she raised money when she was only 12 years old to attend the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro.

Severn received standing ovation for her speech. What she said in the speech could have been said today, not much has changed since 1992. It is time for action – cities, organizations, groups and individuals are invited to mobilize their networks and join the effort to get all countries to combat climate change together.
