16 June 2009 - 17 June 2009
Ricoh Arena
Coventry, UK
Focusing on the key current and emerging challenges in the field of emergency planning, The Emergency Planning Society's Annual Conference and Exhibition 2009 will be interactive, thought provoking and rewarding for all those working in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
The Emergency Planning Society (EPS) is the UK's professional body for all those involved in any form of crisis, emergency or disaster planning and management. Members come from central and local government, the emergency services, the health services, commerce, industries, utilities, transport industry and voluntary organisations; what they have in common is that in a time of civil emergency, they are in the front line.
During the conference, delegates will hear inspiring presentations and initiatives and have the opportunity of viewing the latest industry products and services at the event's exhibition. Whether you are a seasoned professional looking for the 'next big thing', looking for new initiatives and ways of working or newcomers to the profession, the event offers you an opportunity for a solid learning network.
The 2009 Conference will incorporate a dedicated "New to the Emergency Planning Industry" area where newcomers to the industry will meet on arrival. Newcomers will also be given the opportunity to peruse vital information provided by a range of organisations.
