Establishing Incident Command Centres Workshop

09 March 2011 - 09 March 2011

This workshop is aimed at organisations that are looking to improve or establish their management of incidents. It will assist delegates in deciding what type of command centre structure is best suited to them e.g. dedicated facility, shared facility or one that is adopted as and when required. It will look at what facilities are required in an incident command centre and how best to implement and improve the facilities over time. The workshop will aim to provide practical and proven solutions in addressing questions such as:

  • How does an organisation choose the most appropriate location for managing an incident?
  • How does an organisation go about setting up an incident command centre?
  • What must an incident command centre be equipped with?
  • What is the role of the BC Manager during an incident?
  • What should a battle box contain and why?
  • What are the benefits of a grab bag?
