Business Continuity Week 2011

The focus for 2011 will be on three key reasons why organizations should take business continuity management seriously:

1. Protecting value and reputation in a crisis.

2. Delivering operational resilience.

3. Providing transparent corporate governance and risk oversight.

The BCI central office will develop thought leadership resources and facilitate some advocacy-oriented activities as well as provide a website, forum and webinar programme throughout the week.

For in-house business continuity practitioners looking for support in running awareness raising activities during BCAW, the BCI is currently looking at developing a multi-role, multi-player online incident simulation game called BC24 which members will be able to play during the week in competition with organizations around the world.
