Business Continuity Evolution Forum 2009

03 June 2009 - 04 June 2009

Amsterdam,
Netherlands

Over recent years there has been a rapid growth and investment in business continuity. Emerging technical developments are continually driving the business continuity industry to respond in an efficient and robust manner. Time is of an essence when it comes to dealing with critical issues.

Due to rapid globalisation and recent security incidents, change managers are now shifting their focus on business continuity. As well as creating a stable environment for their businesses, they are seeking to gain a competitive advantage while increasing the productivity and reducing the costs of their business operations. This poses a serious challenge, particularly when the income potential is uncertain due to ongoing financial instability.

Business Continuity Evolution Forum 2009 will attempt to investigate how to transform and innovate business continuity processes. Industry leaders with many years of practical experience have been invited to share their expertise in dealing with ongoing challenges and how they managed to succeed in creating value for their investments in this key area.

Key speakers include:

  • Philip Meulenberghs – Head of Business Continuity, European Commission
  • Krisztian Piller – Senior Security Expert, European Central Bank
  • Dean Beaumont – Head of Business Continuity, British Telecom
  • Neil Hannah - Director of Operations Compliance & Risk, British Standards Institution (BSI)
